Research paper to slides
Upload a research paper or thesis as a PDF or Word file, say what the talk is for, and Sliduno AI builds an editable PowerPoint. Each point keeps its page reference, so you can check it against the paper while you prepare your talk.
What works well, and what to check
- Sections and headings become the structure of the talk.
- Tables become native tables with figures copied as printed.
- A picture from the paper can go on its own slide, with a caption saying its values are not editable.
- Check equations, figure labels and multi-level table headings against the paper. Text recognition covers English only.
Long theses
PDFs are read up to 40 pages. For a longer thesis, upload the chapter or the summary you are presenting.
How it works
- Upload the paper. Add a PDF or Word file of up to 15 MB.
- Describe the talk. For example: "A 15-minute talk for a seminar. Focus on method and results."
- Edit and download. Change any slide, then download the .pptx.
Questions
Can AI make slides from a research paper?
Yes. Sliduno AI reads the paper and writes an editable PowerPoint from it. In AI mode it summarises in presentation language, and every number must appear in the paper.
Can I use it for a thesis defence?
You can use it for a first draft. Upload the part you are presenting, then check every claim, equation and figure yourself before the defence.
Is it free?
The version without AI is free to try. During early access, AI generations are limited per account, and every account has a limit on results in any 30 days. Nothing is on sale yet.
