Sliduno AI

PDF tables to Excel, with a sources sheet

Sliduno AI reads the tables in a PDF or Word file and builds an Excel workbook: a summary sheet, one sheet per table and chart, the document's own tables in full, and a sources sheet saying where each came from. Numbers are stored as numbers, and an empty cell stays empty, never zero. Ask for "an Excel workbook" in your instructions.

What is in the workbook

How table reading was tested

On 14 public PDFs, 15,507 table figures were compared with their source pages: 0 invented, 0 lost. A table whose column headings cannot be told apart stays out of the slides but remains in the Excel download. Multi-level headings can read in part, so check them against the original.

For a quick copy of one table

Excel for Microsoft 365 on Windows can import a table itself: Data, Get Data, From File, From PDF. Use that when you need one table and nothing else.

How it works

  1. Upload the PDF or Word file. Up to 15 MB. PDFs are read up to 40 pages.
  2. Ask for Excel. For example: "An Excel workbook of the tables, with a summary."
  3. Check and download. Compare totals and a few rows with the original.

Questions

How do I extract tables from a PDF to Excel?

Upload the PDF to Sliduno AI and ask for an Excel workbook. For a single table, Excel for Microsoft 365 can also import it with Data, Get Data, From PDF. Check the figures afterwards either way.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Scanned pages are read with text recognition, in English. Recognition can misread digits, so check every figure.

Is it free?

The version without AI is free to try. During early access, AI generations are limited per account, and every account has a limit on results in any 30 days. Nothing is on sale yet.
